Allocation Update – 15th March 2018

Murrumbidgee 

Murrumbidgee general security allocation has increased by 4 per cent, bringing the total this
year (2017-18) to 38 per cent of entitlement. All high priority commitments on 1 July, including
carryover, are assured, however; at this early stage, general security entitlements will probably
commence the new water (1 July 2018) year with zero or low allocation.

NSW Murray

NSW Murray general security allocation has increased by 2 per cent to 51 per cent of
entitlement, with a commensurate increase in allocation to conveyance entitlements.
All high priority commitments, including carryover, are assured for the NSW Murray and Lower
Darling valleys in 2018-19. At this early stage, general security entitlement holders can expect zero
or low starting allocations for 2018-19 in the NSW Murray the Lower Darling valleys
