Murrumbidgee IVT : Delivery Commences

Delivery of IVT Commences WaterNSW is advising customers that delivery of water from the Murrumbidgee Inter Valley Trade (IVT) account has now commenced at Balranald. The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) has requested that WaterNSW deliver a volume of up to 20 GL by 15 November. The Murrumbidgee IVT account has a current balance of 103.3.

AWBA in discussions with state water register on transparency

Stock and Land article Australia’s peak water broking body has joined calls for greater transparency in southern Murray-Darling Basin trades. Australian Water Brokers Association (AWBA) president Ben Williams says clarity would be relatively easy to achieve. “We think there can be some relatively simple tweaks to the way registers report and collate data around entitlement.
