2018 Rice Industry Field Day

Yesterday we both attended the 2018 Rice Industry Field Day at Yanco. It was an interesting day with research displays, trips to the field stations & guest speakers including Kellogg’s and Sunrice. The morning was spent looking at research displays over morning tea, and then a presentation by Kellogg’s about the importance of grain quality.

On Monday evening the 26th of February the NSW Farmers held a Water Forum in Griffith with the guest speaker being Colin Mues, Executive Director- Environmental Management from the Murray Darling Basin Authority. Extended Winter Shutdown We have commenced modernisation works throughout the south-western part of our network as part of our shift to automation. Some works will be done throughout the current irrigation season.
