Extended Winter Shutdown We have commenced modernisation works throughout the south-western part of our network as part of our shift to automation. Some works will be done throughout the current irrigation season. This includes Bilbul and smaller structures in Widgelli, Wah Wah, Tabita and Benerembah, as well as provisions to pump-around structures to enable construction activity while we continue to deliver water. To complete the major works there will be an extended 2018 winter shutdown period for this part of the network. Areas impacted include the Sturt Canal and Benerembah channel systems, as well as the Tabbita and Wah Wah districts.
